Yah thats right bitches, Im gonna be upgrading to 7.1 surrpond sound. Well, maby. I was talking to my regular salesman/manager at wackys in bayers lake and he told me that he has a pair of monitor 5′s in a warehouse that are a invintory mistake. They have been there for a year and a half. I have alwayse wanted the 5′s for my rears. There pretty much the equivilent of my monitor 9′s, however there not full tower speakers. There massive 20lb bookshelf speakers. If all works out, I will spend about $400 or $500 and get the Paradigm Monitor 5′s, with 50′ of 12guage speaker cable, the stands, and I will finally put banana plugs on the ends of my cables. Its thursday so I probably wont hear from him till next week but ya never know. Maby if it all works out in my favour, Ill sign the financing this week and hvae then setup for sunday night with Beth. I know he has teh stands, the cables, the plus and the speakres in stock. The problem is, because the speakers have been in his warehouse for a year and a half, there a invintory error. They were sent to him by mistake. But nobody has claimed them. We both have the same idea and thats to give them to me for the lowest pric epossible. I know how this works from a retail standpoint. They have been there for so long, if he gets the OK from head office, he will sell them for whatever he can make. Since the speakers arnt made anymore, I will get a really good price. They are expensive speakers, like $500usd, im hopping for alot less though. Oh well. I love my home theator, its my baby. So whenever I get to expand and upgrade it, I get pretty giddy. If I dont move out this summer, and I dont buy a car, than Im gonna be buying a big TV. Probably a 42″ plasma. Once I get that, then I will have the ultimate home theator. 7.1 Surround sound, using some of the best speakers around, a amazing amp/reciever (marantz of course), and a big beutful tv. If your wondering what the current total of prices is, its about $5000 and still only audio equipment. Im gonna get back to listen to class cause Im really understanding this, super cool!
