Just in case you all are wondering what my gear is (since I mentioned it a bit in the last post) here is what my camera bag contains today.
Camera: Nikon D40x
Lenses: Nikon18-55mm f3.5-5.6G
Nikon 55-200mm f4-5.6G
Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6
Filters: Hoya 52mm Circ-Polarized
Hoya 52mm ND-8
Memory: 2GB SD (x2), 1GB SD(x2)
I am planning on investing in a few other small items over the next year, specifically, a 72mm UV filter for my sigma lens, and a 52mm UV for my 2 nikon lens. Also, a flash, and a remote shutter release. I am currently drooling over a Sigma 18-55mm macro lens with f2.8 throughout the entire zoom range, and a min focusing distance of 20cm, but I am going to wait on this for a while. Like I said, I have a good amount of gear, now I need to hone my skill.

Now, It was a push to buy that VR lens without getting in too much trouble with the boss, so I really don’t think I can get away with buying much more camera gear. I’m gonna be shopping for a new bag, something much bigger that can take a laptop and a lot more gear. The only big item I think I could get away with is a D80, or similar body, because them Beth will inherit my D40x, but I really don’t think I will be doing that. Anyways, thats whats in my camera bag.
