Yah im a programmer. Im not very good, and Ive never made anything usefull. However here are my top 3 programs to date.
The first is a darts calculator. This is a very simple idea. If you ever played darts than this may interist you.

The second is a death clock. Well not really. All it actually does it pick a random number up to 100 and then counts down every second untill it reaches 0.

The third isnt even a program. Its a tiny tiny java script. Its a count down untill Christmas. However you can change it to a countdown to whatever you want.

Just on a different note. All the stuff I create is open source. All I ask is that if someone says “wow thats cool” tell them to check out theitlife.com, also, if you take the source and do something really neat with it, let me know.

Well well well. You want to be a programmer. So buying software isnt good enough for you, you half to make it your self. Bath tub software. The only problem is that you dont know where to start. Of coarse you can do like I did and go to colleage for 2 years (im half way through my first year) and learn programming. Or you can go to University for 4 years and get a BA in computer science. Or you can go to a book store and buy the books if you dont want to go to school. What if you just want a ebook. Well boys and girls I have one of the best programming rescources I have ever seen. Its called how to think like a computer scientist. There are 4 languages you can learn, Java; Python; Logo; and C++. In my opion I would start with either Python or Java. They are very simple languages. Now I have no experiece with logo, however but if you want to jump in the deep end, than go for C++. Its a massive language and will take a lot of work and time to get good at it. But it will be worth it. For me, I started with C++ (technically visual C++ .net) and then started to learn pava and python. This was very counter productive. Now I learned all the ideas and concepts and everything I need to learn another language, but it was harder than it would be in other languages. Anyways its your call

I want a mac for web design, graphic design, and recording. I need windows for networking, programming, and crap like that. Oh well
