So, as many people remember recently, a lot of airports around the U.S. have been requiring people to take out and show off all there toys… even the power cables for them. Now, this was slightly annoying, and very silly. Where this rant gets interesting is that something has come of this. It seems the the TSA has a official blog, running on there official tsa.gov site, and people have commented and questions these actions. Ready to get really scared? The TSA has read these comments and contacted the airports conducting these searches, and they concluded that there are some rouge TSA local offices that are pushing this rule down. Well these rouge local offices have been dealt with, and these rules have been taken down. I don’t know what surprises me more, the TSA blog, or the fact they listened to comments?

Why I hate Cnet lists
August 9th, 2006 · No Comments · The News
Ive never been a blogger to post random rants and nonsenes (as you all know), but I ahve a bone to pick with cnet lists. After reading there latest back to school list, im a little miffed at what they were thinking. This time, there back to school list isnt actually as bad as I may make it out to seem, compared to there must have tech lists, and best of tech lists, this is pretty good. What I have a big problem with is that there lists seem to be designed by the salesmen, not the actuall editors. I mean, if you look at the lists theyve put out, they usually have 2 or 3 cell phones, and 2 or 3 mp3 players. The motorola razr is alwayse there, so is some kind of a ipod. The psp alwayse makes the list as well. I love these gadgets, im no ipod hater, I own one, Im also a bit of a sony fan boy, and, I like motiorola in general. I ust think that if you are making a top 10 list, you should not have more than 1 of each catagory, because why must you have 3 cell phones, a ds, a psp, 2 mp3 players, and whatever else they pick? Does this make sence?
