If the latest iPhone update has caused your battery to drain a bit faster, it may be the addition of there Ping social network. If you never used this (or at least not on your phone), it may be a good idea to go into the restriction settings on your phone and disable it. While your doing that, you should look through what other services you never use, and disable them as well. For example if you never use the GPS, than disable it so that background apps don’t hit it and drain the battery.

Within a day of my MacBook purchase apple release the newer and faster version. And now we can expect the 2009 will use the same (or very similar) LED back lighting that the air uses. This will be great for the environment (longer life, less manufacturing, etc) and also, longer battery life! (Though I can get a good 3 hours from my MacBook right now.

Well, if you are buying a new macbook air, its not worth jack. The guys are Ars Technica got there hands on a SSD macbook air, and a regular one. And what were there results? The money you spend is all thin air (sorry for the pun). There tests proved that there is no real benefit. They gained very little performance and battery life improvments. This does’t make much sence to me, but, at least it proves the macbook air is full of hot air.
