The I.T. Life

So, I’ve basically replcaed blogging with twitter, and since twitter now shows on my blog, its all the same thing. I will try to sum up the last few months, but its been crazy. Of course in Jan I got married, than did the honeymoon in Montreal, I will try to find the time to post a bit stroy about the whole events but it was fun, exciting, and random, plains that couldn’t land, trains that had no brakes, and fun stuff like that. After that, it was the back to work routine for a while, and was pretty dull. I have a CB radio ordered for the jeep that I am waiting on, should be great on the trails. I blew up my GPS by attempting to wire it into a fuse, I have a second one I just bought today so hopefully better luck… I eventually will be wiring in my CB, GPS, ad Satllite Radio. I got into radio scanners, vhf, police, etc. And have a few different models in mind. I won’t be going digital since thats very pricy, but I will go trunked analog, and that will get me everything except the RCMP and halifax Police. I helped/watched a guy replace my rear brakes on Sunday, very neat, what a pain in the ass though, it was so much more work than we expected, but, cheap parts and we couldn’t find the right tools. I need to get my front brakes done soon, so hopefully next week. I did a oil change tuesday night and had a complete failure. We couldn’t get the oil filter off, so had to put in new oil with the old filter. That means next week I need to do a change all over again. I’ve been struggling with my next big mod to the Jeep and been trying and trying to figure out a lift. I came to the conclusion that I can’t affordably lift it and cram 32″ BFgoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2s in there this summer, so I will instead get 29″ KM2s, and no lift. I will be getting some custom sliders build, and ordering my missing tranny skid. Oh, I got my front tow hooks on Monday as well. On a side note I’ve pulled 2 cars out of/ off of snow banks and shoveled a benz out (would of pulled but couldn’t find the tow point for him). Great season so far! I can’t wait to get my KM2s and my CB, I will be out the week I get them hopefully!
